Brian White

Rev. Brian "Skip" White is a graduate of Cedarville College (now University) where he majored in Bible and New Testament Greek. He is also a graduate of Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. Pastor White joined his father-in-law, and founding pastor, Russell Ward on staff of Basore Road GBC in September, 1979. He served as Minister of Christian Education until March, 1988. At that tume, the church called Pastor White to be Senior Pastor, and Rev. Ward was given the title Pastor Emeritus. Pastor White has served the Grace Brethren Fellowship in various capacities. He has served as District Moderator three different terms, and is now on the Ministerial Esamination Board.

He is also curently a part of the 12-member Fellowship Council which oversees all business of the national fellowship. Pastor White has been married to Jan for 35 years, and they have three children. Ryan (and Amy) White; Jenna (and Justin) Kreitzer, and Corey (age 18). All three families live in Englewood, Ohio. When time allows, fishing is the hobby of choice. Pastor White and his oldest son, Ryan, enjoy annual trips to Canada to fish for Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout. The trip always includes other men from the church family. Our pastor has a desire to preach and teach through the exposition of God's Word. He typically preaches through series of Bible books and topics. Recent series have included the books of Daniel and Philippians, as well as a series on the Family.
