Here are the current announcements for Basore Road GBC
  • There will be an important Business Meeting held Sunday, June 27th at 6:00 p.m. Please plan to attend as the Official Board presents the congregation with some very important items regarding the church's future.
  • Great news! We received a check from Kroger for our Women's Minisry simply because you are using the gift cards that you purchased from us. Keep reloading money onto your card when you shop at Kroger. If you did not purchase a card and would like to help support our Women's Ministries, there are additional cards in the church office. The cost will be $5 (with $5 already on the card).
  • If you would like to be added to our church's email prayer chain, please turn in your name and email address to the church office. This is a great way to stay connected with what is going on with the church family during the week.
  • The Ronald McDonald House – has a Pull Tab Program. The House raises about $12,000.00 a year from tabs. Mary Lindgreen is collecting them for the Dayton House. If you are interested, bring to church kitchen.
  • There are Daily Breads, FGBC World and GBIM Newsletters available. Please see the welcome and missions centers for these publications.
  • The puppet team will continue to collect pop cans. The money raised will go into the account to help with further expenses. They will also continue to collect Coke Reward points. The puppet team would like to go back to the Happy Church next summer and will use the points for items for their kitchen.
  • If you have provided a dish for a church meal and have not picked up your dish, please do so in the kitchen as soon as possible.
  • Sunday, July 18th we will have Operation Barnabas in our morning worship service. On Sunday, July 25th, Pastor Florent Varak from France will be sharing with us during the morning worship service. And on Sunday, August 1st, Katie Roberts will be giving an update on her ministry at the Black Forest Academy in Germany. Plan now to be a part of these exciting services!
  • There is a need for Nursery workers during Sunday School and Sunday Morning worship. Please contact Angela Detrick or the church office if you can help in this area.
