We are once again gearing up for an exciting year of Bible study, Small Groups, and Girls' Nights Out! We have
many different branches of our Women's Ministry, and the linked brochure allows you to see what is being
planned for the Fall of 2009 through the Summer of 2010.
There are a couple of enhancements we would like to highlight for you:

Our mom's group will continue to be offered, but will no longer be under the MOPS program. They will
now be called M&M (Moms & More)! If you are a mom of a child aged infant through 6th grade, we
invite you to join us on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, at the church, beginning September 8th.
The format will remain very similar to last year, and Ellen Gilbert has graciously offered to continue
teaching. She will be using the book The Parent You Want to Be: Who You Are Matters More Than What
You Do by Les and Leslie Parrott, to guide the discussion time.

Loving Links was a new program last year, offered as a way for ladies to be paired up with a prayer and
encouragement partner throughout the year. We are offering this again, with new pairings for the year. If
you are interested, please fill out the linked questionnaire and return it to Kim Johnson, Nikki Burke, or
Jan White. You'll be paired with an encouragement partner, and we will forward your survey to them as
a way to better pray for you. No gifts please.

New this year is the development of an e-mail list so that we can keep everyone up-to-date with the latest
information. Within the next several weeks, there will be a sign up sheet on the Welcome Center for you
to be added to this list. We will keep you updated on upcoming events, Bible Studies, and any changes
that you may need to hear.

We have a new way for you to support the various branches of Women's Ministries this year. We are
partnering with Kroger to offer a gift card program. Initially you are able to purchase a $5 gift card, and
then load the card with additional funds at the Kroger Customer Service desk. As you use your gift card to
make everyday purchases, Basore's Women's Ministry receives 4% of the money spent. You are also able
to reload and reuse the same gift card over and over, with the same benefits. We would like to gauge
interest prior to purchasing the cards, so please stop by the Welcome Center or your Sunday School
classroom to sign-up!
